The Wealth Management App
Everything in this documentation so far describes the protocol. The Nerona wealth management app is the consumer surface that sits on top of it — and it's where the product becomes something materially different from a stablecoin protocol or another neobank.
The app is in active development. This page is a preview of what we're building.
The thesis
Crypto today offers HNWI two options, both bad.
Option A: Use a CEX VIP desk. You get a human RM, but you get opaque balance-sheet risk, limited onchain capability, and a counterparty that could freeze your account.
Option B: Go fully DIY on DeFi. You get sovereignty, but you're self-curating strategies, self-managing wallets, and self-executing across a dozen frontends.
We're building the third option: a private-bank-grade experience on top of a fully onchain stack. RM-led onboarding, concierge service, and curated product access — but with self-custody, transparent yield, and no opaque balance sheet anywhere in the flow.
What the app will do
Core banking
- Self-custody with social login — smart accounts that feel like a normal fintech login but keep the keys with the user
- Crypto cards — Visa-grade card issuance with QR payment support in key APAC markets
- On/off-ramp and FX swaps — regulated fiat partners in Singapore, Indonesia, and expanding
- Onchain swaps and DCA — standard DeFi trading rails without leaving the app
Strategy vaults
A tiered set of yield products sitting on top of USDnr and the Upshift infrastructure:
- Stable Yield — low-risk, short-duration, stablecoin strategies (sUSDnr and future peers)
- High Growth — higher-volatility strategies, including BTC, ETH, SOL, HYPE, and gold vaults
- Build Your Own Vault — for clients above a threshold, a bespoke strategy built to a specific thesis
Private deals and co-investment
Access to curated onchain and offchain opportunities that are hard to reach as an individual allocator:
- Early-stage token rounds
- Structured yield products
- Select RWA deals
- Co-investment alongside vetted funds
Concierge and advisory
The service layer most crypto products don't have:
- Dedicated RM for clients above the threshold
- Onboarding and offboarding support — white-glove movement of capital in and out, including crypto-to-fiat at size
- Tax consultancy through partner firms
- Bespoke advisory on portfolio construction, cross-border structuring, and succession
- AUM-linked perks — because the people we're building for expect that, and the private banks they've used have trained them to expect it
Transparency layer
Every position, every strategy, every flow — verifiable onchain. No black boxes, no "trust the statement." If a client asks "where is my money right now," the honest answer is a link.
Founding 1,000
The first cohort of the Nerona wealth management app is the Founding 1,000 — a membership program for crypto-curious wealth across APAC that reinforces the exclusivity of the early product and gives us the depth to build it right.
Details on membership criteria, access, and benefits will be announced separately.
What this isn't
To be explicit about what we're not building:
- Not a retail neobank. We're not competing for the mass-market user. The product, the service layer, and the fee structure are all calibrated for clients with meaningful balances.
- Not a bank. Nerona does not hold a banking license and does not custody client assets. Regulated functions — card issuance, fiat custody, KYC — are handled by licensed partners.
- Not a closed ecosystem. USDnr and sUSDnr are fully composable onchain assets. You can use them anywhere DeFi accepts ERC-20s. The app is a better interface, not a walled garden.
The wealth management app is in development. Features, timelines, and availability are subject to change. Access to certain features will be jurisdiction-dependent and subject to the requirements of the licensed partners operating the regulated components of the stack.
