What's Coming
The sUSDnr vault is the first primitive. It's not the last. Here's what's on the roadmap and how it fits together.
USDnr strategy vaults
Today, USDnr holders who want to earn yield have one path: stake into sUSDnr. That path is sourced from a multi-strategy DeFi basket, which carries real yield but also carries the diversified DeFi risk profile that comes with it.
We're building additional USDnr-denominated strategy vaults for holders who want different risk/return profiles — for example, a conservative T-Bill-plus vault, a stablecoin LP vault, or a fixed-duration Pendle PT vault. Each will be a separate ERC-4626 vault following the same Operator / Risk Manager separation as sUSDnr.
Users will be able to choose exposure at the strategy level rather than accepting a single blended product.
Isolated lending markets
An isolated lending market pairing sUSDnr as collateral against USDnr as debt is in development.
The mechanics:
- Deposit sUSDnr as collateral
- Borrow USDnr against it at a conservative LTV
- Keep earning sUSDnr yield while the position is open
- Spend, swap, or redeploy the borrowed USDnr
This is the canonical "productive collateral" flywheel. You don't liquidate your yield position to access liquidity — you borrow against it. The lending venue will be an isolated market (single collateral, single debt asset) rather than a shared pool, which contains risk and keeps the parameters conservative.
Over time, we'll extend the collateral set beyond sUSDnr to include other assets Nerona holders commonly want to post — likely starting with BTC, ETH, and select tokenized RWAs.
Multi-chain expansion
USDnr and sUSDnr live on Fluent and Ethereum today. Additional EVM chains will be added as:
- User demand warrants native deployment
- Custody and bridging infrastructure support it
- Liquidity economics make sense
We're deliberately not racing to deploy on every chain — each additional surface is a new risk perimeter, and we'd rather be deep on a few chains than shallow on twenty.
Timing
We're not publishing dates. The sUSDnr vault is live; the rest of the roadmap ships when it ships, with the same care we've taken on everything else.
